First iterations

One of the initial mark options for Welcome Week. I thought this was a very strong concept, but ultimately decided it would be too detailed to read well across a variety of formats.

Another early concept for the Welcome Week mark, inspired by the hand-drawn look and fun illustrations established as part of our campus brand.

I loved the idea of the tiger paws converging on Columbia. Ultimately, I decided it was too busy to read well in a variety of formats.

Final Mark

This is the final mark for Welcome Week 2019. This is based off the earlier drawing I created. I added a textured finish to all of the lines to emphasize that fun, illustrative drawing style. This mark was carried through all of the deliverables to make all of the touch points as cohesive as possible.

The graphics for this were carried across a variety of platforms. From in-app graphics in the GoMizzou app, to t-shirts, to event signage to digital ads, to event signage to organic social content and 10,000 printed posters.
